IQVIA Senior Translation Delivery Manager - Interpreting in Reading, United Kingdom

SENIOR DELIVERY MANAGER - INTERPRETING

Working with the wider Project Management team, the Senior Delivery Manager is the main point of contact for the onboarding and relationship management of Interpreting clients for IQVIA Translation Services.

Client Relationship Management:

· Act as main point of contact for internal/external Interpreting clients and manage their requirements plus any escalations or issues that may arise

· Serve as the subject matter expert on Interpreting projects, supporting, and advising clients/project managers with solutions and best practices

· Onboarding new Interpreting clients, including presenting either alone or supporting Sales with the ability to suggest and advise on relevant services

· Establish and maintain excellent relationships with clients globally, devising solutions to meet client need

· Regularly reaching out to clients to ensure client satisfaction is high

· Maintain a pipeline of upcoming assignments to assist with resource planning

· Provide and follow up on quotations, determining areas of improvement

Project Management:

· Manage multiple translation, Interpreting and localization projects at any one time from receipt to completion

· Liaise with the client to assess and agree project parameters and requirements

· Manage client accounts, assigning projects internally within the PM team whilst ensuring client needs are met

· Assess project scope to select appropriate vendors and negotiate deadlines effectively

· Monitor and manage the status of assigned projects to effectively anticipate and prevent issues

· Accurately complete project finances including quoting and budgeting

· Prepare and maintain project documentation and information

· Understand and adhere to the Quality Management System

· Comply with relevant and applicable IQVIA procedures and SOPs

· Work with Team Leads to help in the training and development staff for Translation and Interpreting projects

· Assist in the maintenance of linguistic assets including glossaries and style guides

· Ensure that high quality is maintained for all projects through QA checks

Requirements:

· Minimum of 4 years of experience working in Interpreting Project Management in the Language Services industry, with minimum of 2 years’ additional experience working within Client Services in a variety of sectors

· Specialist in Interpreting and Translation Services (Simultaneous and Consecutive, in-location and remote) with extensive knowledge of both On-Demand and Pre-Scheduled projects

· Experience developing and managing client accounts

· Experience presenting to clients, supporting onboarding of new clients and cross selling additional services

· Advanced client management skills with the ability to build client relationships

· Ability to create detailed SOPs, processes, and workflows for Interpreting projects

· Ability to provide training and support to project management team for Interpreting projects

· Ability to maintain a project pipeline to support resourcing efforts

· Bachelor's degree, ideally in a linguistic, business, or scientific field

· Fluency in English is essential, an additional language would be advantageous

· Excellent written/verbal communication skills

· Excellent attention to detail to ensure that high quality standards are maintained

· Ability to meet strict deadlines and to manage competing priorities and changing demands.

· Ability to follow instructions and work independently whilst using own initiative.

· Demonstration of advanced IT skills

· Extensive experience working with a variety of Interpreting platforms and technology

· Experience working with TMS and CAT tools, experience working with XTRF and/or memoQ or other similar systems would be highly advantageous

· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, managers, and clients
