IQVIA Technology Partner Manager (Remote) in Parsippany, New Jersey

IQVIA Technology Solutions develops and markets life sciences-focused enterprise technology solutions which includes IQVIA’s Molecule to Market portfolio strategy, bringing the era of orchestration to the life sciences value chain.

The Technology Solutions growth strategy is to partner with strategic third parties to build out our ‘platform of platform’ direction. We look for white spaces in our next generation solutions where adding a partner solution provides differentiation between IQVIA and our partners. Additionally, we also look to partner with go to market providers to assist our sales team on providing world class tools to supplement what IQVIA already offers in the marketplace.

To continue our development of a professional partner program, we are building out the partnerships organization to strategically select, contract with, onboard, and manage relationships with partners that will help us to continue to grow our business. As the Salesforce Technology Partnership Manager, you are a cornerstone of this team and critical to our success.


Specifically, you will:

  • Assigned as the alliance lead for the Salesforce portfolio of strategic technologies within IQVIA, reporting to the Director of Salesforce partnerships.

  • Ensure that there is a strategic business development plan for target markets and ensure it's in line with the Salesforces’ strategic direction. This includes the creation of detailed account plans to track partner progress and achievement to goals.

  • Strategically align global customers for all market segments of Life Sciences

  • Support IQVIA’s technology sales teams such as clinical trial management suite (DTMS), Pharmacovigilance, Clinical, OCE Sales, OCE Digital, and the Healthcare team with slideware and content to enable successful prospecting and qualifying.

  • Meet weekly with the Pharmacovigilance team to support their GTM efforts and maintain the relationship with the Salesforce counterpart

  • Collaborate with Salesforces’ global Life Sciences organization for content

  • Manage revenue targets and work with the IQVIA technology teams, and Salesforces’ sales organizations to achieve/exceed goals.

  • Ensure internal and external alignment to product and GTM strategy, and delivery teams.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to internal stakeholder ecosystem regarding how IQVIA capitalizes on the platform-of-platforms strategy.

  • Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team, additionally assist the Director of Salesforce partnerships with quarterly business reviews (QBR) with Salesforce leadership.

  • Collaborate with GTM and partner marketing teams to construct partnership enablement messaging and content.

  • Understand the Salesforce product mix and understand how new or existing products could enhance IQVIA GTM product

  • Recommend potential solutions to capability gaps or re-platforming of existing legacy technology.

  • Evaluate Partner Industry Events and collaborate with the Director of Salesforce Partnerships and IQVIA Marketing on content for event participation.

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of sales and/or business development experience in the technology and Healthcare/Life Sciences Industry with proven ability to scale through aggressive sales in a partner ecosystem.

  • Bachelors Degree Required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to create and meet joint solution and GTM strategies and tactical plans.

  • Consistently exceed quota and key performance metrics

  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-level executives

  • Experience in Enterprise Sales Process

  • Deep familiarity with cloud and business applications, services, market positioning and sales strategies

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations

  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross functional audiences

  • Strong technical acumen, with a demonstrated track record of driving disruptive technologies in the Healthcare and Life Sciences arena

  • Global alliance and sales account management

  • Fluent in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for presentation purposes

  • Knowledge of Salesforce products and services
