IQVIA Director, US Commercial Contract Administration (Remote or Hybrid) in Parsippany, New Jersey

Role Purpose:
The Director for US Commercial Contract Administration
Plays a pivotal role in managing a team of contract managers for the day-to-day completion of contracts to support IQVIA clients and the US business unit revenue objectives. The Director leads and acts as a coach, driving continuous improvement of skill sets among the team, leads change and removes performance barriers, while recognizing outstanding effort and championing integrity.
Pursues and implements advancements in automation and process improvements.
Is accountable for meeting department financial P&L.
Is accountable for completion of contracts through representation of appropriate terms for services, within the SLA commitments, and adheres to IQVIA standard policies and procedures, while collaborating with various members of the US business unit and its leadership, including finance, legal, IT, and business.
Participates in special projects to drive US business unit contract efficiency initiatives.
The success of this role requires the following competencies:
Works well with a remote team, driving collaboration among team members and day-to-day training to increase team’s skill set, and knowledge of the business, including new offerings.
Understands legal and business terms required, both standard and non-standard.
Ability to draft special terms not only under the guidance of a legal playbook, but as needed based on business objectives, for review by legal team and other appropriate members of IQVIA’s business
As needed, have the ability to prepare client statements of work, amendments and other client correspondence under limited supervision
Identify potential risks associated with terms and conditions to minimize risk(s) for the organization
Strong understanding of IQVIA data, services and technology.

Experience leading contracting integration efforts for acquired businesses
Experience in leading a Contract Lifecycle Management (“CLM”) implementation.
Drive KPI reporting, allowing informed decision-making
Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required:
5-10 years of contract management experience a must,
Experience leading teams and developing talent.
Strong passion for learning, getting things done, solving contract issues
Experience in Apttus/Conga contract management application.
Experience drafting contract language and asking questions to resolve contract needs
Experience with contract negotiations, understands contractual terms and conditions, and its impact to the business
Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
Strong Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word, SharePoint and Salesforce.com CRM skills/knowledge
Effective interpersonal and communication skills, creative and pragmatic problem-solving skills, business acumen and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Sound judgment and commitment to ethical conduct.
Ability/interest in working across a broad range of subject matter areas.
Ability to work independently and prioritize.
