Configuration Engineer, Omnichannel Marketing

Role Summary:

The Configuration Engineer/Data Analyst position on the Navigator Config team supports internal and external clients with configuration/process management, data load, qc/analysis, good communication skills and a “can do team!” attitude The candidate should be comfortable working within a team environment or on their own depending on the deliverable.

The position requires in depth knowledge and experience using best practices and knowledge of internal/eternal business issues to deliver our product to our clients. They will resolve complex problems taking a new perspective using existing solutions. The position requires working independently, receiving minimal guidance. This position involves monitoring data processing systems, config, and providing error resolution. This position is also responsible for maintaining a library of data processing standards and procedure manuals as well as applying expert knowledge in working through day to day issues and enhancements.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing and documenting data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design.

  • Developing, maintaining, and managing data loads and advanced reporting dashboards.

  • Creating tools to store and maintain data within the organization.

  • Create project deliverables, Project documentation/charter and implement solutions.

  • Develop client/stakeholder relationships and serve as an offshore point of contact for your deliverables.

  • Understanding of different pharmaceutical / life sciences data sets like promotional data, anonymous patient level data, prescription data & sales data.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • MBA/ Bachelor’s in computer science, Engineering, or relevant field

  • Minimum of two to four (2 to 4) years of experience working.

  • Experience in developing, maintaining, and managing data driven dashboards & analytics and working knowledge of at least one BI administration/architecture.

  • A fair understanding of SQL, rational databases.

  • Proficiency in use of query and reporting analysis tools.

  • Competency in Excel (pivot tables, etc.) is preferred.

  • Passionate about technology including data and analytics.

  • Versed in the ingestion, transformation, movement, sharing, stewardship and quality of data and information.

Tools/Technologies:

  • Business Intelligence Technologies – Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI (any one)

  • SQL Language – (SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS))

  • Data Analysis Tools – (Online analytical processing (OLAP), ETL frameworks)

  • Understanding of healthcare data sets and technologies (preferred)

  • Can make progress even in ambiguous situations

  • Knows how to listen and repeats back what was heard to ensure that a complex task was clearly communicated and understood

  • Knows what integrity means and demonstrates it in everything they do
