IQVIA Laboratory Assistant, Inventory Control in Marietta, Georgia

We are seeking a Laboratory Assistant, Inventory Control to join Q² Solutions, IQVIA’s laboratory business in Marietta, GA.

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday from 11am - 7pm or 12pm - 8pm.

As a Laboratory Assistant, Inventory Control you will be providing lab support, necessary to assist the local inventory process. You will also be managing reagent inventory for the Flow and PBMC departments.

What You’ll be Doing:

  • Performing and documenting analytical procedures in accordance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines.

  • Conducting routine data analysis to ensure analytical procedures are proceeding as expected.

  • Identifying and documenting potential performance errors or unusual results and escalating to senior lab personnel.

  • Preparing data analysis results for upload to LIMS system under the guidance of senior level staff.

  • Assisting in quality investigations, deviations, and resolution.

  • Preparing buffers and solutions for analysis, as required.

  • Assisting in the review and update of laboratory procedures and techniques.

  • Assisting in the inventory process and managing monthly reagent count.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Some CAP/CLIA lab locations may require a BSc in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, medical laboratory technology or cytotechnology.

  • 6 months experience in a regulated laboratory environment.

  • Basic knowledge of assigned technical area, systems and procedures obtained through prior work experience.

  • Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities needed for this role:

  • Inventory management.

  • Knowledge of laboratory safety and infection control procedures and practices including standard precautions and hazardous chemical handling.

  • Ability to work within cold storage as well as the ability to stand for an extended period of time.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, close eye work requirement (computer, typing, reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks. Occasional exposure to cold temperatures.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $47,600.00 - $79,300.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
