Lab Quality Coordinator

The Lab Quality Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Lab Quality Manager and providing support to Lab Operations in line with regulatory requirements.

Essential Functions

• Responsible for providing Quality system support to operations.

• Assists in the preparation of audits by coordinating documentation and performing a quality review to ensure completion.

• Assists with the preparation, coordination and presentation of laboratory competency training for new hires and existing staff.

• Responsible for the coordination and review documentation of initial training and competency assessments for upload to electronic filing system.

• Performs QC review of lab documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations and SOPs.

• Assists with lab quality process improvement initiatives.

• Participates in team and company staff meetings and discuss findings and recommendations for resolving non-compliance.

• Participates in continuing education through self-study, attending training sessions and lectures and meetings.

• Supports safety, quality, and 6S requirements and initiatives.

• Complies with company's procedures and regulatory requirements, as applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• 6 months experience in a regulated laboratory environment.

• Basic knowledge of laboratory quality systems and laboratory procedures.

• Basic knowledge of laboratory good documentation practices.

• Good computer skills using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

• Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients.

• Applicable certifications and licenses as required by local regulations.
