IQVIA Metrology Technician in Indianapolis, Indiana
We are seeking a Metrology Technician to join Q² Solutions, IQVIA’s laboratory business in Indianapolis, IN.

As a Metrology Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of routine testing procedures to obtain data for use in clinical trials research.
What You’ll be Doing:
Installation and qualification of new equipment and instrumentation according to standard operating procedures.
Performing preventative maintenance on instruments and coordinating necessary maintenance with external vendors.
Maintaining life cycle documentation of equipment and instrumentation in accordance with applicable SOPs.
Calibration and verification of validated instrumentation according to SOP requirements.
Troubleshooting equipment and instrumentation and identifying new equipment needs.
Repairing disabled analytical instruments and laboratory equipment.
Creating and maintaining SOPs for instrumentation/metrology.
Monitoring and responding to equipment monitoring systems, such as environmental, temperature or generator alerts.
Identifying opportunities for process improvement, supporting six sigma, quality, and safety initiatives.
What We Are Looking For:
1 year experience in a laboratory environment.
Related hands-on experience in calibration and repair of measuring and test equipment.
Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office, Word with an emphasis on Excel.
Related hands-on experience in troubleshooting laboratory equipment and resolving process issues.
Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $41,100.00 - $68,500.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
