IQVIA Business Development Manager for RWE & HEOR in Bogota, Colombia

Job Profile Summary

Secure and retain RWE and HEOR business through professional, consultative, proactive consulting and sales activities directed at decision-makers and decision influencers at existing and new clinical sponsors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect actively and leverage potential new business opportunities within specified new and/or existing customers/accounts.

  • Lead the Go-To-Market strategy in the region, from preparing and leading consulting and sales presentations to coordinating with contracts/proposals for proposal development.

  • Network actively in the industry to establish relationships and identify potential opportunities.

  • Collaborate with Sales Management to identify, prioritize, and establish a comprehensive sales plan for each target account.

  • Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities through continuous monitoring of leads and opportunities.

  • Maintain strong visibility within customer organizations and ensure customer satisfaction through regular communication.

  • Plan and coordinate all customer sales activities, analyze potential opportunities, and develop consultant and sales plans for each target account.

  • Report and oversees all Go-To-Market related activities in the CRM system and prepare sales activity reports as required.

  • Serve as a liaison between the customer and technical RWE/HEOR operational groups within our organization.

Experience

Typically requires 3 - 5 years of prior relevant experience as Evidence Generation partner or KAM in the Pharma Industry.

Knowledge

Requires advanced knowledge of job area, either on Real World Evidence generation or in HEOR, and broad knowledge of Medical Affairs and/or Market Access departments in Pharma/Biotech companies, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.

Skills and Abilities

  • Proficiency Solid understanding of the principles of drug discovery and development

  • Solid understanding of Medical Affairs and/or Market Access from pharma/biotech industry

  • Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite: MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, MS Outlook, and Internet)

  • Excellent understanding of business and Industry Trends and ability to interpret the trends relevant to the business

  • Excellent analytical skills in assessing and interpreting customer business

  • Data Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Excellent analytical and research skills

  • Advanced English Level
